Universal Engineering Sciences is hiring for a Geotechnical Project Engineer with a South Carolina P.E. License. The Project Engineer is responsible for managing the technical and financial aspects of assigned projects. The Project Engineer coordinates drilling, sample/data collection, subcontractor tasks, evaluates data and compiles written reports for submittal to clients and regulatory agencies. .
Manages engineering projects, coordinates internally and with client, and writes reports
Analyzes reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, tests, and aerial photographs on soil composition, terrain, hydrological characteristics, and other topographical and geologic data to plan and design project.
Uses computer assisted engineering and design software and equipment to prepare engineering and design documents/analyses.
Coordinates and cooperates with lab and field departments
Prepares cost estimates, proposals and invoices
Design/Build Highway Experience
